Cygnus, The Swan

Cygnus, the constellation that rests beside Lyra in the sky name means "The Swan". The crystals I choose for this bowl reflect the meanings of the swan from ancient cultures and embody their connection to water and the sky. The swan, the largest of all aquatic birds, is very celebrated in fairy tales and folklore from all over the world holding many meanings. From beauty, grace, love, and devotion it is no surprise this majestic being is an iconic symbol for romance.

However, for many shamanic people of different cultures the swan is an omen for the development of our intuitive abilities, altered states of awareness and going with the flow of life. This constellation has a very special seat in the night sky, as it is lying on the plane of the Milky Way. Just west of Deneb, the constellations brightest star, begins “The Great Rift”, a long band of darkness that runs southwest towards the horizon and appears to split the Milky Way in two. This place in Cygnus, where the Great Rift starts, was seen as the place of death and rebirth, a gateway to the higher, spiritual realm and because of this all around the world ancient peoples fixed the location of heaven in the same segment of sky of the constellation of Cygnus, the Swan.

I created this Melody Bowl using a beautiful blue and clear vintage glass swan shaped candy bowl. The crystals I curated for this bowl are all blue and clear representing water and the sky. Their energies create a peaceful and calming vibration while also revitalizing the intuition and bringing forth truth.

You will receive everything within the bowl as long as sand (and some extra!)

What's inside the Melody:

1. Kyanite is a high vibrational crystal that rapidly transfers energy to align the chakras, creating pathways like a universal bridge making it a crystal of connection. It also allows us to explore the darkest depths of our souls, bringing us face to face with ourselves, and with others.
3. Clear Quartz is known as the “master healer” known for its high vibrations being able to clear your mind, body, and spirit of any lower vibrations. A clear quartz crystal can help you align with your highest self and live at your highest potential. It absorbs, stores, releases and regulates energy. It balances and revitalizes the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual planes. It enhances psychic abilities, aids concentration and unlocks memory.  Stimulates the immune system and brings the body into balance. Clear Quartz harmonizes all the chakras and aligns the subtle bodies.
4. Seleniteis a crystallized form of gypsum and this is the Satin Spar variety. Its name is derived from the Greek goddess Selene, the goddess of the moon. Selenite has a powerful vibration that yet is soothing and peaceful. It is popular for its cleansing, charging and protective energies. It purifies from negative energies, releasing anything lower vibration from a person, crystal, place and so on. It is connected to light, higher consciousness, angelic realms and the crown chakra
5. Blue Calcite Is a powerful auric cleanser, providing personal growth, mind expansion and is soothing on all levels. Calcite is known to be a powerful energy amplifier and cleanser. Blue calcite can be used with the Third Eye or Throat Chakras due to its benefits for communication and intuition.

8.  Blue Sapphire is a stone of wisdom, prosperity, and is used to help open the mind to beauty and intuition. It is considered a useful stone when channeling healing energies from the Angelic Realm or a higher source. Sapphire helps to promote dreams, astral travel and the remembrance of information and wisdom brought back into waking consciousness.
9. Blue Topaz is connected to the Thymus (higher heart),Throat and Third-Eye chakras, and helps to attune to higher realms. It is a great crystal in aiding expression, and is said to help you recognize your own truth, so one can discover their path. The vibrational energy of Blue Topaz makes it an excellent tool when one needs to see their place in the universe and to understand the big picture.
