Muscovite on Albite

This specimen contains layers of the bronze brown form of mica called muscovite intertwined in folds of milky white and lustrous Albite. This mineral creates a very visually interesting display piece and a conversation starter. In my years of working with crystals I have found many people to be pulled into this crystal even though many have come across mica in their own back yards and find it to be no big deal. When high quality Muscovite and Albite are presented together in a crystal such as this one, they allude a regal energy making the ordinary magnificent. They glisten and awe those who view it with inspiration and wonder.
