Scenic Dendritic Agate Pendant

The scene found within this Dendritic Agate pendant is magical with its multi hues of orange, yellow and red. If you look closely the detail in the dendrite is truly amazing with its many branches reaching out.  Unlike other dendritic agates this particular one is a Shazar stone which is found exclusively in the Ken River in the Banda district of India where they have been believed to have been discovered around 400 years ago. The name Shazar comes from the Arabic word “Sazar” meaning tree. These alluring stones are prized for the landscapes and scenes found within and energy of abundance they are said to bring. 

Dendritic Agate (chalcedony) with its branch-like dendrites is known as the Stone of Plentitude. It brings abundance, growth and fullness to all areas of life, from business to agricultural endeavors. It was associated with the ancient Greek dryads, woodland tree spirits and fairies.
